The Museum of Ice Cream in Los Angeles is an Instagrammer's dream come true. While I was expecting more of a history museum with a background on the innovation of ice cream, I was equally pleased to find that by "museum" it really is an art gallery. Each room is a unique installation, with Ice Cream as the subject and medium.
The mint room was one of my favorites, with a crisp fresh smell of mint piercing the air, complimented by mint ice cream mochi. One deep breath, and I was able to let go of overwhelming work related stress, remembering that a fresh start really is always an option.
This edible charcoal cookie dough divided the crowds with controversy. Some people hated it! However, I'm of the personal opinion that all cookie dough is good cookie dough.
How much would you have to be paid to wear these? I settled on $100.
This night took months of stress off my shoulders, I couldn't stop smiling no matter how hard I tried. I felt like a child again.
My boyfriend Alex was the most patient. Allowing me to take one million photos, as he "art directed" the whole iPhone shoot. It was hilarious. I would definitely recommend the Museum of Ice Cream for a super fun date, we had a blast. It is also be perfect for a group of friends, as it isn't as "coupley" as it may look.
While tickets sold out before the exhibit even began, there are still some available on StubHub. Even though it's more expensive now than the original prices, I would say that it's 100% worth paying more to go before it's gone!
