chamomile quinoa salad

infused with spearmint, lemongrass, and hibiscus 


•tranquil dream tea (from teavana, herbal, contains: chamomile, lemongrass, spearmint, hibiscus, citrus peels)

 •1 cup water

•1/2 cup organic quinoa

•1 avocado  

• 1/2 of a cucumber

•1/2 cup black beans

•salt, pepper, rosemary to taste


1. boil one cup of water and let the tranquil dream tea steep for 5-10 minutes

2. add quinoa and return to boil

3. once the water has hit boil, lower to a simmer and cover

4. allow to cook for 15 minutes until the herbal tea is absorbed

5. while quinoa is cooking, slice the cucumbers and avocado and add the black beans

6. once the quinoa is cooked, add the vegetables and beans and chill

7. add salt, pepper, and rosemary to taste

serves 2-4
